Meet Dr. Amy Sickman Parsley (Nashville, TN)
Dr. Amy Sickman Parsley is pleased to provide comprehensive patient-centered eye care as part of the Hermitage Eye Care team. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, she attended the University of Missouri where she received her degree in Biological Sciences with a Spanish minor. Dr. Sickman graduated magna cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.
During optometry school, she was involved in Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, a student organization that provides vision and eye health exams to communities living in poverty and participated in mission trips to Honduras, Mexico, and Colombia. Following optometry school, Dr. Sickman completed an additional year of advanced residency training at the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Virginia. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and running. Amy and her husband, Billy, reside in the area with their cute son!
